The hotel itself was generally as expected. Our room did not have a rainforest shower that appears to be missing as there was a toggle to switch between the regular shower head and rainforest shower. The clean up each day varied in effort which wasn’t great. Got extra pillows when asked for it so that’s good. The best thing about the hotel is its proximity to stuff like the palace museum and Tiananmen Square. Also close to Wangfujing st.

Great stay at Lanou Hotel in Beijing! The location is fantastic—close to many popular attractions, which made sightseeing so easy.
