Faros Vacation Packages
Faros is situated about 90 miles (145 kilometers) southeast of Athens, the country's capital, and approximately 110 miles (177 kilometers) north of Heraklion.
Chrissopigi Beach and Chrissopigi Monastery are a selection of the things to do and see in and around here.
Faros isn't the only place in Cyclades Islands worth experiencing; travelers should also take a day trip or two to experience the unique qualities of the surrounding landscapes, communities and cultural attractions. To explore the area in even greater depth, head 3 miles (5 kilometers) to get to Sifnos. Here you can check out the Vathi Beach and Gialos Beach.
Rent a vehicle and spend half a day in Paros, a shopping and transport center for the region, located some 25 miles (40 kilometers) from Faros. The city offers a number of tourist attractions, such as Paros Archaeological Museum, Antiparos Cave and Naoussa Harbour. New Golden Beach, Port of Parikia and Kolimpithres Beach are also good places to spend time.
Breathe in the fresh ocean air with a trip to Gialos Beach at Sifnos, which is approximately 2 miles (3 kilometers) to the southwest of Faros.
You'll be reluctant to say "Yiá sou" (farewell) to this unique area.
