The cabin comes with a rich history that the host was good enough to share with us, which made our stay more enjoyable. It's definitely rustic, but had modern improvements such as electricity, hot and cold running water, heat and AC, and premium streaming television. Lots of outdoorsy, campy things to do with canoes and kayaks, fishing, hiking, and exploring. It was the perfect getaway for my wife and I from the chaos of caring for a couple elderly family members, frequent care of grandchildren, and no less than 5 dogs. This was long overdue for us, and we'll definitely plan another trip to this property in the future! Communication issues with the property manager was not their fault. The pictures do not do this place justice! The fireplace is just gorgeous. The location is just beautiful. You can hear the waterfall from the deck. There are three cabins that would be perfect for an extended family get together with plenty for all ages to do. We did use the kayaks and tried to paddle upstream but the river was flowing pretty quick and although we are in shape it was exhausting so turned around after \~30m. The cabin had an air freshener in it that made my eyes & throat irritated so once I located it, I placed it out on the porch. ##### Mollie H.
