“I grew up in Fes. I know traditional. This is traditional/modern. I like the vibe. It’s not “stenciled” over a normal wall. This is true craftsmanship everywhere. The house can be quiet and one feels awkward speaking out loud. But truly amazing. The shades close and darken the room which was amazing for my jet lag when I needed dark. The hospitality is outstanding. There is street parking. The breakfast is delicious and authentic Moroccan. The room is spacious. It’s not the best sunlight coming……

But finally gave us one double bed room and one twins room, I have a question here, if we wanted twins room for us, why we needs to pay for one more room? they said they did not see any request . That's another question here, I understand sometimes Hotel can't reach all you request, but how if they totally not care??? no any notice? “The riad was beautiful. We arrived in the afternoon and was first led into a reception area next to the courtyard, which gives us a wonderful view of the beautiful courtyard. We were then greeted with some mint tea and biscuits which were lovely. The staffs were all warm and friendly, and was very helpful with carrying our luggages upstairs. The room was spacious, warm and tastefully decorated. It had a very high ceiling which we enjoyed very much. The bathroom was big and quite nicely decorated……

After a long trip from Sahara desert, I was stunned by the serene vibe of this Riad and had a refreshing shower here. “It’s my most favorite Riad in all of Morocco! I doubt I’ll ever find a more wonderful team of people who go above and beyond to make everyone’s stay most enjoyable. Believe me when I say they helped me tremendously. I had a booking snag and they accommodated me without hesitation and helped coordinate my travel back to the airport at 3:30am. The Riad is more beautiful in person. Everything is clean. The customer service is the best. I’ll always return to Riad Joy when I travel to Fez/Fes.……
