It is convenient to get there by car as it is close to the entrance of the highway. The staff are very kind and polite at the reception. They also spoke perfect English. I can't speak French at all but I was able to relax and enjoy my stay.

Great location and beautiful property. They seemed understaffed and the staff was stressed and out of breath and dismissive. I had two children in strollers and requested a bottom floor, they asked if there was another accommodation I would like even though they were fully booked. There was children’s bikes advertised as an amenity which they did not have available and the man seemed very confused when asked about it. I would stay here again for the convenience and size of the rooms, but without the expectation that I could rely on high quality service or children’s amenities.

Breakfast is very good. Close to main train station. Electric tram stop right in front. Easy walk to the central city. We checked in late night and the night receptionist Maia was delightful, provided us with a lot of information and made us feel right at home

Beautiful hotel, however staff need training in service and managing guests. The front desk called my room as a complaint was made about my children walking around by the guests below, at 10am. It is no one’s fault if floor boards creak and I think this is a reasonable time for people to walk around. I am not sure quite what the staff wanted us to do, other than be still. Disappointing service. Does not make this a ‘family-friendly’ hotel.

Maybe it just was a bad day to be there. If you don't want to fight the hectic town, this location is great. But, the free breakfast advertised by Expedia was refused to be honored by the front desk. He was rude to us and was working both the desk and the bar. His idea of a whiskey "pour" was let me put as little in the glass as i possibly can, and then quote "thats the rule" when questioned. Interesting enough, he also said it was his last day. Seemed to be more rules and expensive charges to collect money than make you stay welcome. Nothing to show off the history of the property or welcoming attitude. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Shower head needed some work to keep adjustment and coffee maker didn't work... for your limit of 2 free pods!
