Very good buffet breakfast, nice rooftop pool with good view, very nice rooms, friendly customer service. All in all, good value for the money. Easy to take taxis near the hotel to go to all tourist attractions.

Great Hotel!! Clean and modern, fantastic service… Only short falls were it is a bit far from town and the gym is under equipped.

We recently stayed at the InterContinental Muscat to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary, and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly and recognized as VIP guests, which immediately made us feel very special. To our surprise and delight, our room was beautifully decorated with flowers, thoughtful snacks, and a delicious anniversary cake. This personal touch set the tone for a truly unforgettable holiday. A heartfelt thank you goes to Shankar, Merilen, and Jemna for their outstanding care and attentiveness throughout our stay. We also want to recognize the wonderful Club Lounge team—Marian, Anna, Aliyaa, and many others whose names we may not recall—who consistently went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made us feel like part of the InterContinental family. Every detail of our stay was handled with such thoughtfulness, and it was clear that the entire team takes great pride in making their guests feel valued. The combination of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and heartfelt hospitality made our anniversary celebration truly unforgettable. We are already looking forward to returning in the future and cannot recommend InterContinental Muscat highly enough to anyone visiting Oman.
