"We had a great stay at Yosemite View Lodge. The location is excellent, close to the park entrance and surrounded by beautiful scenery, which made it super convenient for our Yosemite visit. The amenities were good and covered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A special mention to the staff, they were excellent, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The lobby also has a shop that stocks a good variety of essential items, which was handy to have on-site. The one area that could use improvement is housekeeping a bit more attention to detail there would make the experience even better. Overall, we had a good stay and would recommend Yosemite View Lodge, especially for its unbeatable location."

"It is a tent and you have to carry your stuff to it. It is crowded and you can hear everyone. But we knew that going in. The comforter/blankets were inadequate, however. Great to be in the park. Very expensive for what you get, but then it is in Yosemite valley."

The Oakhurst Inn at Yosemite

"Upon settling into our room, we noticed that it had a fairly significant plumbing issues so I brought to the attention of the person at the desk. It was late in the evening and the Inn was booked full because it was Labor Day weekend so we had to stay in that room the first night. The next morning, they prepared a fresh room for us. We moved and everything was great from that point on. My overall evaluation, therefore, is good. On one hand we never should have been put in a room with obvious plumbing issues. On the other hand, they responded to the matter very professionally. All in all, we would definitely stay there again. BTW - the breakfast is as good as advertised!"
