Cosy and warm and log fire a nice addition as the heating is on a timer for when the temp does drop. However, a few things we were not happy with. - Check in time actually 5pm not 4pm as advertised on VRBO which is really late in our opinion. - Check out time actually 9am not 10am as advertised on VRBO which is really early especially as the guest is required to have a family of……

“A nice little well presented cottage inside. A lovely kitchen with full amenities. Good bedroom space and storage. Lovely bathroom and shower facilities. Nice living room and dinning area. Very good central heating as it was cold outside. The cottage was always warm. Fantastic hot tub outside as well. Would recommend it and would go again. ”

“My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O.……

“Lovely property 5 mins walk into Newport centre . Beautiful garden , private and closed in for dogs. Parking and all amenities. Hot tub , great for a getaway. We were a couple and two dogs. Plenty of room for us. Could do with a hairdryer 😉🙌”
