Fontana Nuova-Bevia Vacations from $1,080

Great location within the old town. Lovely rooms and fantastic breakfast.

Lovely!! There was one part where the desk help could have been more warm upon arrival but was a beautiful hot!

This is a solid 3 star hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is slopeside with ski in/out. Ski rental on site is a plus. However, rooms are basic and mine had no closet. There is an additional daily charge per person for pool and spa use.

The hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Menaggio! It's not a huge property so it's quiet and has a family run, boutique feel and you can really feel the love put into the property. The breakfast spread was the huge and delicious! The staff was friendly. As others have noted it is a trek up a hill to get to the property if you don't have a car. My husband and I were able to do it with our luggage, but we pack light and it was a bit strenuous. If you have a few bags especially roller bags I'd recommend getting a taxi outside Hotel Du Lac to get your luggage up. We loved being tucked away on the quiet mountainside. A wonderful stay.

The property was well maintained and in a central location but the rooms are small. Our room had a terrace facing the breakfast area. After 3am it became very noisy and smelly with the breakfast preparation. The staff were very helpful.
