Our recent family stay at the Plainsman Motel in Forbes was a delightful surprise. After a long drive, pulling up to a clean and inviting motel was exactly what we needed. Stepping inside our room, we were greeted by fresh, crisp white linens – a small touch that made a big difference after a long journey. But the true star of the show was the friendly welcome we received from the staff at the front desk. Their warmth and hospitality instantly put us at ease and made us feel right at home. Forbes for Two Nights Only

We were in town in preparation for a medical procedure. It was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the closeness to the RSL Club. THe beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was very very squizzy, there are no grab bars in the shower but a non slip mat is supplied. The A/C was quiet and efficient.

This property was perfect for our needs. The kitchenette was a very welcome bonus, and arriving to the heat already turned on on a cold winters night was great. The renovations are looking good. I'm not a fan of the 100% hard floors, but they do make maintenance easier I guess. Just a personal preference. I had three issues though. The hot water out of the tap was crazy hot. Hot enough to scald my fingers. The door to the room didn't latch properly. We had to have the chain on the door to stop it swinging open in the middle of the night. The walls must be paper thin. I was able to hear entire conversations of other people out in the parking area.
