Stayed with you many times now and always was in the tall tower. Rooms and decor was dated but clean and Floridian which we like. This past stay we were in the lower tower (3 floors). I assume this was the old original hotel? Room was sub par for the money and does not compare to the tall tower. Room issues: very dated, only mirror in room is in bathroom, no shelf or cupboard or counter in bathroom, room decor, etc. basically, this wing needs to be off the market or offered at a discount. If someone stayed with you the first time and was in that wing, they may not ever come back.

Our room was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the location of this hotel. There was a miscommunication between the front desk and the valet station re booking transportation to the cruise ship terminal. The valet parking people rectified the situation for us and we had no problems getting to the cruise ship. I would stay at this property again.

Property was lovely. We stayed on the 9th floor and there was only one working elevator. Had to wait a while to be able to take luggage down to check out in the morning. The location on Las Olas Blvd was convenient to dining and nightlife. River view was nice too.

This hotel was an awful experience. It is basically a glorified motel & anyone paying anything over $ night is being robbed blind. The only good thing I can say about it is at least the sheets & towels appeared clean. If I went over everything wrong about this crappy place, this review would be very long. Just take my word & do not book a room here-keep searching!

If you want to stay on Las Olas Street, this is the place. Literally in the heart of a bustling shopping and dining area, it also is close to the waterfront and has a great pool and riverside dining options, if you spring for a balcony, especially a corner balcony, you won’t be disappointed. The lights at night provide amazing views of the river and Las Olas Street. It’s an extremely pleasant place to sit with a drink at night or a book during the day. The room was very spacious as well as the bathroom. Would definitely return!

The front desk man during the hours of 2am was so extremely rude. He made a good night a horrible night. His attitude was less than desirable.

Restaurant on the premises was very good, friendly in a nice ambiance. Our room was next to the a noisy elevator on the first floor which kept us up all night. We were given conflicting information regarding transportation to pier by front desk and valet. We have long wanted to stay here. It did not live up to our expectations. Overpriced. I now regret it. It was a real letdown.

We enjoyed our time at Riverside hotel. It was in a perfect location and very walkable. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was a bit dated but overall clean. Would recommend.

The location is great, which is why we selected this property, right on Las Olas. If you want a hotel close to the beach, this is not it. My husband and I like to walk, so the walk to the beach isn't too bad, I think it's two or three miles. There are a few problems with the hotel room, mainly the bathroom. Apparently, there is a map that allows you to choose a room with a better bathroom. I didn't know this when I booked the room. The bathroom is smaller than any hotel we have ever stayed in. There is absolutely no counter space. The bathroom has a tiny pedestal sink and a glass shelf about three inches wide above the toilet. Our travel toiletry bag did not fit on it. The closet is excellent and the bed was comfortable. We had issues a lack of room service two out of the four nights we stayed there.

Mattress in her room is pretty pathetic. Location was fantastic. The restaurants and shopping were incredible near the hotel. All morning long there was construction going on with the beep beep beeping of large construction vehicles backing up.

Stay was short, overnight after our cruise. Staff were lovely and helpful for our large property and we arrived early and we appreciated the bellman holding our bags so we could explore. The riverwalk was lovely and being close to shopping and restaurants was so great. Only 10 minute Urber ride from the airport. Sunday evening was hopping with people, fancy cars and grwat restaurants. We enjoyed the tavern across the street and the Cheesecake factory. Very high end neighborhood! Hotel was a little dated but clean and great staff.

Really nice property. Fantastic service in breakfast and dining area. Our server Faydrah put a smile on our faces. She is a happy person. However the gentlemen at the reception needed something to make him smile. Would definitely return should we visit Fort Lauderdale again.

As I am limited to the amount of words, I’ll only inform you of the most egregious issue. Our room’s heat was blowing cold air. The nice hotel “engineer” came to try to fix it. He was unable to do so; therefore, he said he would tell the front desk to change our room. I received a call from the manager who said they were having difficulty finding a room so asked if extra blankets would be enough. I said absolutely not. I then looked online and rooms were still available for that night, it was around 9 p.m. So I went back to the reception desk. The manager gave me a different room. The older man at the desk, who had previously been quite rude to me, actually told me that they didn’t want to give me a room in case someone wanted to check in and now they had 2 rooms they couldn’t use. This was such unacceptable behavior. Upon check out, I asked for a printed receipt. They had charged me an extra $50 per night plus tax totaling to $113 overcharge. The nice young man at the reception desk put in a credit. He said it would take a few days to post, but he gave me a receipt documenting the credit. A delay in the credit makes no sense as they took the overpayment immediately. Please take heed to all low reviews, it might make you consider different lodging.

The 2 gentleman at the reception area were rude, sarcastic and mean. Their horrible personality ruined our vacation. Don’t go to this hot. You don’t need anyone talking down on you when you pay a good price for the hotel and expect polite customer service.

Beautiful hotel. Several nice restaurants. Safe area with plenty of restaurants to walk to. Hotel staff was very courteous. Will stay there again. It was convenient to cruise port and provided a shuttle to transport us.
