"We enjoyed staying here. This was more than just a rental property - it was a home. The little things made the stay - from the bathroom and sink gift boxes to the additional toilet paper and trash bags. We did not have to shop for anything. The view was incredible. Our only suggestion -the mattress on the bed adjacent to the living room. It is fine for one but with 2 people, it is not supportive in the middle. This did not deter our stay though. Fabulous experience and would stay again"

"Well maintained older property with a gorgeous view across a large backyard. A great place to crash while exploring Maine. Everything we needed was available plus more entertainment in the garage we didn’t have time to take advantage of. The A/C splits were a welcome addition since it was 90 on some of our days there. "

"Beautifully-appointed, very clean, comfortable bright, updated historic home in easy-access central location. Large kitchen had all that we needed, set up in a user-friendly way. Bathrooms great with lovely old bathtub, great water pressure, super cushy towels! Wifi worked great. Amanda and Tiff the housekeeper were very helpful and easy and fun to interact with, and we looked forward to seeing the dogs Mike and Helen each day. Our only slight issue was with high season traffic noise at night from Route 1, which is understandable given location, it just caught us off guard. Once we adjusted to it, it was fine. We kayaked, hiked, and ate out daily in all locations within an hour of the house. A few miles away at Stockton Springs Marina is an EXCELLENT restaurant called The Cove which is like eating at the home of a friend who happens to be a pro chef. Highly recommended. "
