Definitely older, but beautiful building, beautiful setting by the river in the trees. Great large room. Main complaint is the maze of hallways, had to go up a floor (with a lift) down a hallway then down another flight (no lift) when there was an outside door to the parking lot right by our room but "for emergency only". amenities cost extra, did not try them out.

Plumbing in the rooms we stayed in could do with upgrading. Few more bar staff at busy times needed. But overall great hotel would definitely stay again.

"Very well run, clean and friendly small hotel. The room was bijou but comfortable and the bathroom/ shower was excellent. Our room was adjacent to the bar which was very lively on Saturday night so a room sited at the other side of the hotel would be preferable. Food served in the bar was very good. ..."
