While the suites are in need of some cosmetic updates the layout of the rooms is great. A separate bedroom, a small kitchen and living area provides for a very comfortable stay. The common areas of the hotel appear to have been updated. The breakfast is free and sufficient. There are numerous food options within a few blocks walking distance. The pool/ hot tub area is nice and offers a comfortable place to unwind after a day of touring the sites of the region. Spa services are adjacent to the pool but we did not use the services offered. The girls at the concierge desk are very helpful and friendly.

Good hotel but I am not sure it is quite 4 stars. For example, they don't have a gym. They do have a swimming pool outdoors, which must be nice in summer. (I was staying there in winter and the weather was not very warm.) Also, there were ants in my room. They were tiny and did not bother me too much, but still this is not what I would expect in a 4 star hotel.

This hotel was approx. 15-20 minutes walk to the main bus station in foz du iguazu (Brazil side). The bus to Argentina was just outside the main bus station. It was around 50R for a taxi to the Brazil side of the falls and 40R for a taxi to Brazil airport.
The hotel itself had great facilities such as a pool, room service and minibar however the reception staff during our stay did not speak English which is ok but made it difficult to arrange transport to the Argentina side of the falls. I'd enquired in advance if the hotel offered a shuttle to the Argentina side of the falls and they'd advised yes and to ask reception on arrival. On arrival we tried to communicate this via Google translate and thought we had booked it for 9am the next morning for 45R each. However the next morning there was a different receptionist who also didn't speak English and seemed to know nothing about it. A driver arrived and took some guests somewhere but he also didn't speak English and didn't seem to have us on his list. This meant we ended up having to navigate the bus system which took much longer.

From the airport, got to my hotel by bus. The tourist information and taxi operators won't tell you that there is a bus service . They said i have to take a taxi, conspiracy. I have my way of knowing it and there it was
a bus stop right in front of me. With my Spanish I was able to board the bus and tell the driver where I was going.

Spent three days at the hotel, great breakfast, very pleasant/helpful staff. Very clean. Great facilities--fantastic pools. We did a few tours in the area--the falls, bird park, hydro dam, the three frontiers, etc. Had a wonderful time.
