Spacious condo with loft, wood-burning fireplace & access to 2 hot tubs & pool

  • This two-bedroom plus loft, two-and-a-half bathroom vacation condo is located on the MeadowRidge Resort in Fraser, less than seven miles from the Winter Park Resort! This condo has queen beds in the bedrooms and a double bed and a twin bed in the loft. The bathrooms have been renovated. The deck has a great view of the ski runs and Byers Peak! When staying at Meadow Ridge, guests have full access to the amenities at the clubhouse. There is an outdoor, heated pool and two large hot tubs, which are accessible year-round. The clubhouse also includes coin-operated laundry facilities, an exercise room, a racquetball court, and a tennis court (summer only). Several other vacation rentals are available nearby to plan a larger gathering.

No clubhouse passes

Place was fine. We booked it because it had access to an outdoor pool/hot tub sauna through their clubhouse. When we arrived there were no cards to get into the clubhouse. We called and got transferred to someone local who said they would call back. They did not. We called again and were told they could not get us passes and would refund us an “amnenity fee” which I am still waiting for. However much they give us back it will probably not cover having to pay to go to the local rec center to swim. Finally I find carpet in a bathroom unhygienic. As a boy mom I have cleaned many a bathroom floor. Can’t imagine how dirty those bathroom carpets must be.

Pros and cons

Pros and cons! We rented it for an inexpensive place for a wedding nearby, and it was well priced. Check in was easy, location good and it is near a club with pool. The kitchen is well stocked, internet worked, but tv in one bedroom had no remote so not useable. Soap, tp, towels are all motel 6 level. This is a basic condo- thin walls old construction- very dated interior. Right before wedding hot water went out and we had to shower at the pool (thank god for that option!) We called management and they initially tried to say it was a small water heater (one 5 minute shower so not possible) but we pushed back and then they sent someone to relight the pilot light. It was fixed quickly but points off customer service for not believing us about the hot water... Overall, given all the options in Fraser probably not stay here again but it's a reasonable low cost option.

January 2017 Stay

This condo was really nice. We had 6 adults & 2 kids and they all loved it! Plenty of space and we were only minutes from things to do and places to shop. WP Resort was less than 15 minutes away and the town itself was only 5-7 minutes depending on snow!
