Creek Street Cottage | 2 Blocks from Main | Pet-friendly

Located just two blocks from Main Street in the heart of town this special cottage defines quality. The front porch has a swing and two rockers designed to help guests relax and enjoy.

Inside is a living/dining room complete with oversized loveseat and chair plus a large ottoman and are placed to enjoy the large cable television plus the wood fireplace. The colors in the prestigious room are accents of burgundy and a sage green. A fully equipped kitchen is also open to the living/dining room. Everything two people will need—electric range/oven, large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and coffeemaker. Plus an antique oak drop leaf table for four is found in the living area to enjoy coffee and breakfast.

The bedroom's elegance is a wonderful sight to behold. The queen bed is decked in plum, sage and pink creating an air of grandness. An awesome oversized chair is found in this bedroom along with other quality pieces of furniture your hosts have collected. The bathroom has a shower. Just outside the bedroom is a screened porch with a white wicker table and chairs.

The home is pet friendly and will accept up to two dogs. However, there is a pet fee of $17/dog/night. Due to the fact that HomeAway/VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please let us know if you will be bringing more than one dog, so that we can make sure that you are charged the correct amount. If you bring more than one dog and do not let us know, you will be charged accordingly. Furthermore, please bring crates for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the house, do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of their waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.

Please be aware that there is a separate, larger home at the front of the property that may be occupied by other guests during your stay. Your cottage though is private and only accessible by you.

- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
- Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.
- Place all trash in designated containers.

Sketchbook getaway

With the porch swing and then screened in porch there were a lot of places to settle and sketch. The cottage was clean and pretty with exceptional art.

Creek Street cottage

Love the cottage and the location! We stayed 4 days/3 nights. We were provided 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper and no Kleenex so had to provide our own. Besides this we loved the B&B and enjoyed our stay!

I fell in love with this cottage! Although I saw the sights and shopped, the cottage was the best! You could almost say it is enchanted! lol. I will definitely be returning!

Location was great, but there were roaches and I don't do roaches. One on the ceiling and another one on the kitchen counter. Fortunately, I didn't see them until the second night, or we would have cut our trip short. I let the owner know, but have heard nothing from them.

Little house on creek st

The house is located just a block from Main. Easy walking distance if weather is good. Big enough for 2 people and 2 dogs. The porch is relaxing and the yard has a fence for the pups. We enjoyed our quick trip with ease!

Enjoyed my stay

Alway enjoy this small, hidden B&B. Was disappointed that I had to go out for coffee though - but have had to deglaze my Keurig as well. Loved the key-less entry. I was a little concerned at first about complications - but it was easy, no stress after all. Have a question, are we to leave a tip for the cleaning crew? I never thought about it as I was rushing to get packed and to church on time. If so, I'm sorry and should make it good if I goofed. Let me know, and the name of the person who had to clean up after me -

We enjoyed our stay except for a few issues. We weren't too sure about the air quality. The HVAC vent in the bathroom was very dirty and my wife's allergies seem to kick in more when we were inside. Once we left in the morning, she was fine. Also, we saw two rather large cockroaches. I was able to kill one but the other one disappeared under the couch. Not sure when the last HVAC service or pest treatments were performed, but those two areas appear to be lacking. Otherwise, great location. Thanks!
