“Had an unexpected stop in Staunton, VA due to tire problems… booked the Blackburn Inn last minute to stay over and get van new tires. Pulled up and thought we were at wrong place. A beautiful historic colonial building looked like a college campus but was the Blackburn Inn. I researched and found out it used to be a hospital built in 1800’s. Very clean, well maintained and restored. The front desk allowed me to keep my room till noon on checkout while waiting for van repair. Only……

“The entire hotel was clean and comfortable! Room was extremely clean, great shower, and comfortable bed. Loved the location as we were able to walk and get dinner! Highly recommend. Breakfast was great too! ”

The space was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with basic cooking items, though spices were minimal. The location is a big plus—easy walking distance to downtown restaurants—and we would definitely stay here again.”

“The property was clean but required a damage deposit and I upgraded to a suite in order to ensure privacy instead I got more space and was kept up hearing every step in the unit above me and was unable to sleep until 4am. Both nights I stayed there. I would have cancelled and found another place to stay if it wasn’t just a short stay. I even tried to sleep with the TV on borderline loud to try to cover up some of the sounds coming from upstairs, but I was still unable to.”
