Wonderful and large holiday home in the quaint fishing village of Lild Strand, where coastal fishing has been practised for generations. The pool and the living room/kitchen are heated by a heat pump, which saves on heating costs. The pool invites you to be active, while the whirlpool and sauna offer pure relaxation afterwards. The sunny courtyard on the doorstep is simply marvellous on warm summer days. The holiday home is centrally located, 150 metres from the North Sea, 50 metres from the church and the old lifeboat station and 100 metres from the place where the fishing boats are pulled ashore in the evening and you can buy fresh fish. The beach at Lild is known for its abundant fish stocks and, depending on the season, flatfish and cod are caught. The wide sandy beach at Bulbjerg is a bathing beach to be recommended. Here you will also find the 47 metre high limestone cliff Bulbjerg, the only bird cliff in Denmark, where rare bird species breed and visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view. On a clear day, you can see as far as Vigsø Bay and Hanstholm in the west and all the way along Jammer Bay to Rubjerg Knude in the east. At the foot of the slope you can find fossilised sea urchins and other fossils. Lild Strand borders Denmark's largest nature reserve, a vast heather-covered dune area with brackish lakes, moor heaths and forests, all of which offer unique nature experiences. Not far away is Vejlerne, a bird reserve covering approx. 6000 hectares, where you can observe the rich bird population on the enclosed area from many vantage points. Don't forget your binoculars.
