This town has a world class natural spring that creates a small lake but feeds a river with fun canoeing and awesome rainbow trout fishing, but the closest major chain is about a 20-30 minutes away. The Mammoth Spring Lodge sits across from the spring with a beautiful view. The room was spotless and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was average, but there was a good variety. The staff was friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

My kids were not happy when we pulled up but when the door opened to my room they loved it…especially the room. Always remember…don’t judge a book by its cover.

The cabin is cute and clean. Beds were very comfortable. The best mattress I have ever slept on in 70 years. The only negative was there were persimmons all over the ground in back and outdoor table. Otherwise a great stay.

Everything was convenient! All the shops and stores were just around the corner along with gas stations and etc. We loved the location and since we were just off the main roads but easily accessible, it was quiet! The rooms were great, staff would bend over backwards to help, breakfast was full (eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, good coffee, juice, milk, cereal etc...) The only negative was their WiFi was a little weak at times and we would have to reconnect. Otherwise, it was a...
