Front lobby staff were all friendly and easy to communicate with. (However please note I was communicating to them in fluent Japanese, not sure how easy it would be for foreigners). The bed was made well, but after sleeping in it for a night, the sheet came a little undone, and we saw that the mattress underneath was incredibly stained and dirty. It felt a little bit offputting to know that we were sleeping on a dirty mattress, but at least the sheet covering it was clean. Still, not the best impression or feeling. The shelf near the sink has a cheap look to it with poorly constructed metal fencing. It was already broken a bit when we arrived and the metal fence kept popping off. They offer free amenities, like every other Japanese hotel.
