Right in the middle of old town, so there are plenty of choices for dinner/drinks. The room was big and well maintained, and separate split wall for the double bed to the other single beds. A bottle of wine was left for us, but there was no bottle opener to enjoy it! I would recommend to family, groups when visiting

Decor was old Victorian style, very unique. We found our way around the city easily from the hotel. Hotel staff was very helpful, rooms were very clean. Being older I found the bathtubs harder to shower in.

We had booked superior room for our stay, we arrived around 6pm, the room was clean & tidy however there was an overwhelming stench of sewage in the room & the room was boiling hot, we tried to use the air conditioning but that appeared to be broke & the mini bar/fridge inside the wardrobe was warm, as were the drinks, this was also not working. We didn’t have robes/slippers in the room as advertised either. There were no tea/coffee facilities, however not sure this is a thing in Romania. For a 4 star hotel the service & the maintenance of the room was poor. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness, spotless. Staff were pretty miserable & didn’t seem attentive to sort the issues out. Wouldn’t stay here again if we were to return. The area seemed pretty run down & there were no shops nearby to get snacks or drinks.

The only reason I gave 3 stars for the check-in process is because I have never experienced anything like this before. After this experience, I understand it better. The part of Bucharest where this property is located is very densely populated. More explicit pictures and a map of where the driving and building entrances are would be most helpful to the uninitiated like me. The help that I got was superb! Otherwise, the room was perfect, the kitchen well appreciated, the laundry most welcome. It was a very good place to call home for the week that I was in Bucharest.
