"We lucked out and got a room with a sea view, which was amazing! It’s a really REALLY well kept older hotel. Great staff, nice location, beautiful pool. Breakfast was the only downside to me. "Dolce Vita Residence is a great place to stay. The unit was clean and modern with a nice balcony. Staff was very nice and helpful. Be aware that it is a taxi ride or long walk to town on a main road. There are also many stairs down to the unit. My advice travel light!"

Water slides to the busy pool and a second pool for adults only with great views as well. Ample on-site parking. Walk down to the beach is about 300 stairs so don't forget anything! "There were no surprises, we expected a cabin for a room and thats what we got. Pictures did not deceive. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is located just outside piano di sorrento, 20 minute walk to train, 5 minute train to sorrento. There are also buses at the bottom of the hill. Pool was large, and nice to have pool access in that heat. There is a hill to get access to piano on foot which could be challenging for people with difficulties walking up a hill. "What a wonderful Villa. The hosts were attentive and really very nice. Villa was GREAT for our family of 9 adults! Location was very beautiful. If little narrow mountain roads scare americans..then you can take the bus. There are a lot of steps. So be aware. But they are worth it. Villa was clean. Open and spacious. Loved our stay!!"

"The home is beautiful with stunning views and a tasty restaurant upstairs called Melchio’s run by owners. Having a car is a must for us to be able to navigate the area as buses were quite far from the home. We enjoyed meals on the gorgeous veranda and soaked in the warm jacuzzi at night. Parking is tight and driving is tighter anywhere on the coast! It’s 30-45 min drive to Amalfi or Positano and very little parking options.
