“Everything was just right and beautiful. The view is worth it even if the cottage was not so well appointed making one feel welcome. I have been visiting Mentone for many years and this has been one of the memorable times. So grateful for the hosts making this property very special. ”

“It was great very comfortable. There were extra everything lots of blankets, everything thing you need in the kitchen. Lots of room we had two children and five adults. The view was beautiful the dock was great. The neighborhood made us feel safe and all the neighbors were very friendly”

“I rented both of the owners houses that were right on Guntersville Lake at the marina. I have to say I was totally impressed with every single aspect of these properties. First the size , big well equipped, kitchens, living rooms bedrooms everything was spotless. Air conditioner worked great .I would gladly rent here again in a heartbeat . thank you to the owners for providing such a fine property”

“We really loved our stay! We loved this little cabin! Everything was so compact and cute, but everything we needed was there. My two boys had a great time sleeping in the upstairs loft. The location was great - we visited the Unclaimed Baggage and Cathedral Caverns. Both very close by. Very private area. Communication with the host was great!”

“Very nice , very well equipped house next to the Tennessee River. Including two BBQ grills and smoker. House is in a small very quiet area 5 minutes from Scottsboro. ”

“Phenomenal value for the price. Host is very responsive. Wonderful cozy home in the country where it's nice and quiet. Will absolutely stay here again when we go to Cherokee Rock Village!”

“What a wonderful stay!! We couldn't believe the location, the gorgeously decorated rooms, or the easy, comfortable rambling flow of the home. Porches were everywhere- both enclosed and open with super-easy access to the piers where the men in our clan fished happily all day, and the children swam and played in the water where we could see them from the house. Meals were easy for our group of 8 in the open kitchen and Dining Patio. All of us left rested and content saying we'd come back next year...

“Beautiful home. It's very close to the lake with a boat dock and pier to sit on. Paddle boats and kayaks. DoorDash delivers if you don't want to cook. The city harbor was fun and had great food and ice cream. You can pull up on the boat or drive. We had a great time! Would definitely stay again! ”

“We had an excellent experience staying here. Everything is so clean and nice. Beautiful house and love the community. Communication with the owner was great and he made sure we had everything we needed. The boat house is great with two lifts and was perfect to keep our boat in. The boat ramp is very close to property and we love waterfront grocery that is nearby as well. Highly recommend this house to anyone. ”
