The Cheshire Inn is a long standing hotel that is very close to Forest Park and Washington University in St Louis (WUSTL). The proximity to WUSTL was my primary reason for staying here.
Good: clean comfortable rooms, nice ambiance, staff is friendly and tries to be accommodating, location is excellent with restaurants, grocery store, etc very close by and, as stated above, it is close to WUSTL.
Bad: parking was hideous. I think it may have had something to do with the holiday parties at the restaurant that shares the parking lot. What took a star from this review away was the response from the front desk. The lady basically said "too bad" and "look for street parking."
