“Perfect hotel with great, friendly staff. The only shortcoming is that it's not in the center and it's a bit hard to find. Hotel is located 2 blocks away from a mosque, which at 3 in the morning blasts their obnoxious, annoying call to prayer, even though Burundi is not a Muslim country, per se.”

After we got to the area, two you men who don't look like security men came out with a surprised they are not aware I booked a room there. The young men called their master and he denied I booked an apartment there. The boys have no smart phone so my taxi driver took a picture of my documents to……

“The best place to stay when in Bujumbura. Located in the hills overlooking the city centre. Very safe. Very big rooms with excellent air conditioning. Ask for room with a view of lake Tanganyika in the distance. Very pleasant restaurant with nice breakfast buffet. Very pleasant swimming pool with large parasols.”
