“easy check in, super clean rooms, smelled like cigarettes in the morning around facility and inside rooms - smoking shouldn’t be allowed in any capacity in any manner at all - very nice receptionist checking in. Around a 25 minute walk to train station. Giant super market five minutes away”

“This was a very unique experience for us and we enjoyed our stay! We stayed in the family room and paid for breakfast, which was delivered to the room by 8o’clock. It was comprised of breads, yogurt, fruit, juice, milk, and coffee. Great location to visit Omaha Beach, museums, and the American memorial.”

“„La Suite“ ist eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft und sie war die beste auf meiner zweiwöchigen Reise in Frankreich. Die Räume sind großzügig und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Das moderne Bad bietet jeden Komfort. Auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche übrig. Mein Fahrrad konnte ich in einem separaten Fahrradraum abstellen. Alles in allem war es ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. „La Suite“ ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!”

“Nice hotel! Vehicle parking available across the street towards the pier. Friendly staff! Breakfast was very good!! Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Good to know: no elevator access to upper levels; stairs only. Not a big deal imho. Nice area! Great location; close to WWII historic sites. About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here……

“Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special.”

“#1: Google Maps failed to get us to the property every time. This is not the fault of the owners, but it is something every visitor should know. #2: check-in time is 5:00. We arrived way too early, but we were lucky that our room was already clean and ready. Our host was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, but some people might be taken aback by the old building and furnishings. It is a 100 year old castle, so we kind of expected it. The bathrooms are new, and the tub is……
