“Pleasant three- or four-storey guesthouse (to call it a hotel would be stretching it) on the steep hillside just a stone’s throw from Kutaisi’s Bagrati Cathedral. The location is both a blessing and a bit of a curse – the main market, bridges, central park and all the city-centre amenities are just 10–15 minutes’ walk away, but getting up to the hotel means a climb of more than 100 steps (or you can use the winding road).
Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained, but nothing to shout……

“The Grand Opera Hotel was perfectly situated in Kutaisi, close to all the main attractions and lots of restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Kutaisi.”
“We had a lovely stay at Communal Hotel. The manager Christine was wonderful. This is a very small hotel, which is why we chose it. Located around the corner from the pedestrian white bridge. The room had a very cool vibe and the bed very comfortable. Although there are many dining options we ended up eating right at the hotel restaurant, Doli, it was delicious, only a few tables with an intimate setting. The food was delicious only outshined by the service. Would highly recommend both the……
