“This huge elegant house is a remarkable place to stay, the opposite of a bland holiday villa, it has cool marble floors & frescoes but somehow doesn’t take itself too seriously. “This property was a nice stay for 10 days. It was a little drive to the city so prepare to take 20 min Ubers which can be kind of pricey unless you want to take the 1hr train ride to the city. It got kind of loud at night , even with the doors and windows closed but that’s out of the owners control, I know. There is a washer and dryer which was very convenient. The mattresses and pillows weren’t the most comfortable but it was fine for the stay. There was lots of space to commune in the kitchen……
