Super value for money. Great location. Right next door is a decent Italian for eat in or take out. Short walk to the river where we were lucky enough to see a couple of deer. Supermarket and drive thru takeout’s easily walkable, as is one bar with many games to play. Staff member recommended another bar, short 20 minute walk through the town to their great range of local beers. Great for a stop.

The hospitality was honestly the bright spot. Everyone we spoke with was kind, gracious & helpful. The housekeeping, though… that’s where things went awry.
My husband is the room inspector in our family. He checks everything before we unpack because past hotel stays have included very real, very unwanted guests living in the beds. Thankfully, the beds looked brand new & clean, & the pullout sofa looked new too. Huge relief. But there was dust around the beds, carpet stains, & the extra pillow in the closet had a really gross stain.
Then there was the bathroom. Eww. The shower curtain had an awful, wretched stench that made the whole bathroom smell horrible. Plus visible pink fungal growth all over the shower/tub & grout didn’t look well cleaned in a while. We asked for a new curtain, but it took a while, so my husband had to shower with what he called the “grim shower curtain smell.” His words… but accurate. 😂
Public areas needed some love too. Trash cans by breakfast were packed full early, & trash we threw away two days earlier was still in the bin by the elevator. I wiped up a little spill &, well… the paper towel told on the floor.
The room & bathroom lighting were bad. We had every light on & it was still dark.
I know housekeeping can be thankless, & I’m not expecting perfection. But cleanliness, attention to detail & a good room check would go a long way. The hospitality was there. The housekeeping just needs to catch up.

"First off, the front managers and housekeeping employees were amazing and as helpful as they possibly could with what crap they had to work with. As for the rest; that hotel is an absolute joke. It was 100+ degrees in Lewiston the weekend we were there. Not only did they not have working air conditioners ..."
