Great cabin right in the middle of Eastern U.P. which allows easy travel to other great tourist areas in any direction. We went NW to Munising, north to Grand Marais, NE to Tahquamenon Falls, SE to Mackinaw, and SW to Manistique. Great location, dark sky, no neighbors, and a beautiful view. In June, mosquitos were formidable, but a non-issue with the right spray and mitigation. Cell service was very poor, which is a pro and con. Can call out via Verizon and have necessary contact, if needed.
