"The property is very clean and has beautiful views. The host lives at the property and provides a lot of assistance and really wants people to enjoy their their stay. He is very involved and always around. There is a small pool kids can enjoy. We liked staying in the area away from all the crowds. You can get to a bus stop but if you can drive that would be much easier, the bus system is pretty slow."

"Sara is a great house. So much bigger than it looks on the pictures. After touring the island of Gozo, it is in probably the bes location. Munxar is a lovely town and the supermarket is 3 min walk away and has everything you could ask for. The pool was a little cold, but we visited in Autumn. I am sure in the summer heat the pool feels like bliss. The kids (aged 3 and 5) loved it. Great house for families with plenty of space and everything you need. Highly recommend!"

"We had a great stay here. The pool and outdoor space was lovely, and the villa has a lot of space and character. The village it is in is very quiet, but all the main sites are just a short drive away. It was great to have a highchair and cot provided."

"Villa was lovely, very clean with lots of quirky bits to it. Lots of winding steps to bedrooms so not good if you have mobility issues. Only downside was only a small amount of sun by pool (possibly because we went in September) it may be different in earlier months. Although lots of sun on upper terrace, it was nice to have an outdoor shower so easy to cool off. Unfortunately while we were there a lot of dog barking from nearby which was frustrating at times. But all in all a very enjoyable...

"The Villa was lovely, spacious, clean and the 6 of us had all we wanted, bedrooms and bathrooms each, even an extra bathroom. The pool was great too, real suntrap. We used the local bars and restaurants, all good, particularly D-Bar and Ta-Vestru. The little supermarket behind the church was great, an Alladins Cave! "Lovely to stay with Ray and Maria again; we were last there thirty years ago when our children were small. Apartment 2 is comfortable and spacious and the pool deck is surrounded by palm trees! The weather was mixed so we caught up on Amazon and YouTube series some evenings. The Santa Maria Estate is a peaceful residential area a short walk away from Central Mellieha. We used the running track most days. We hope to return and thank Maria and Ray for sharing their lovely villa with us."

"Our host Melita was wonderful to deal with. Attentive and helpful, Melita was informative about her home country, responded quickly to our needs, but also respectful of our privacy. What a lovely lady and great host - we would stay there again ! It's also within walking distance to a handy grocery store and lots of great restaurants. The pool area is quite special and as the other 2 units were unoccupied, we had the whole area to ourselves - this is where we enjoyed our Mediterranean breakfast...

"My family of 11 spent 8 days in this beautiful villa. Our hosts Karen and Pedro were so helpful. Karen drove us to the local supermarket on our first night to stock up with provisions. The Villa is located in such a peaceful part of Malta. Thank you so much Karen and Pedro for making our Malta holiday a happy and memorable one"

"Thank you for our stay, your property was the perfect base for exploring the island. The milk in the fridge on arrival was perfect for our little boy arriving late and wanting to go straight to bed and your extremely kind loan of a car seat saved the day when our car hire company let us down. The apartment was spotless and the pool and facilities were great."
