Wow, great stay in the castle! The grounds are beautifully maintained, staff friendly and helpful, and the surrounding neighbourhood is also lovely. Easy 5 min walk to grab quick 5-10 min train into downtown.

I was a bit disappointed with the room for the price it struck me as being a bit more like "servants garret" however the room was otherwise comfortable, if basic. The food was good and the staff excellent... good location

The main castle is beautiful from the outside but I only saw the inside as far as the reception desk because our room was a “Garden “ room which was outside the castle, across parking and into the basement of another building completely. It was absolutely nothing special and I would have booked elsewhere had I known. So if you want to stay in the castle I recommend calling them directly to confirm. I fault the property owners for their unclear and frankly slightly sneaky advertising. It was a huge disappointment. I know I’m not the first to feel this way.
