"The breakfast staff behaved as if the food was being given out for free. They kept staring at us the entire time, and when we politely said “good morning,” they completely ignored us and continued looking at us in an uncomfortable way. We were not sure if something was wrong or if they were upset, but this type of behavior and gestures in front of customers are very unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome. We stay at Comfort Inn very often and have booked many times, but this experience was more disappointing. We expect customers to be treated with basic courtesy and respect."

"I truly could not have asked for a better weekend away with just my dog and I. Everything was clean, cozy, things were easy to find, the location was perfect, and the cottage had everything I needed (appliances, utensils, condiments, games, blankets, etc.. the list goes on forever!). One of my favourite parts of the trip was that I truly didn't have to leave and I only went into town once, you basically have a mini resort right at your hands with the beautiful views of Lake Huron, the private beach with lookouts on the stairs along the way down to the beach, a lovely hot tub, BBQ, fire pit, and the TV/fireplace inside for when it rained along with a fully stocked kitchen. I felt so at ease knowing I didn't have to worry about my dog as the property is fully fenced in. A very memorable part of my trip was the absolutely stunning and gorgeous sunset, it felt like you were watching the sun dip into the lake. I will absolutely be back, this was probably my favourite cottage I have stayed at so far. Thank you so much!"

Everything—from the service to the facilities—was well maintained and made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again."

"Stayed here for a softball tournament. Low budget motel that provides a place to stay. It is in need of renovations. Towels were threadbare. Shelf in bathroom broken. Bathroom door doesn't close properly. In room mini fridge and coffee maker are good perks. Parking is spacious and it is close to the ball diamonds. "

"The Little Inn has been a special place to us for many years. It is indeed charming and the staff was all kind and helpful. We did discover on this trip that we should have waited a week or two since they were in transition to full season services. The dinner menu had several changes that had to be conveyed verbally since the printed menu was not updated, and, most disappointing was that there was no breakfast available except on weekends at this point. Other breakfast possibilities in town were also closed on the morning we left. Ther decor of this historic inn, the proximity to the water, and the other shops in town are all worth the trip. And they still have the best creme brulee anywhere 😊"
