Impressive history and location makes this Inn a definite stay while travelling through the Goderich area. The decor may be a little dated, but very clean. The attentive service, delicious meal and walking the substantial grounds made us smile. Our one night stay meant we didn't have time to sample the Pool or Spa.

This was a lovely experience and so relaxing... the pool and it's deck are great though the hottub is not what is expected... no powerful jets maybe due to the age? I am guessing... Goderich is near by and they have a great flee market on Sundays. The whole place is charming and so beautiful. We had 2 great dinners and everything was on point. Thank you chef. 😀 We will be back!

The hotel is very rustic. The doors looked like they were made of old barn doors so they creaked and didn’t look very secure. However, the room was clean and well maintained. A little out of the way but it had nice grounds.

This is an interesting inn created from a century old building. There is a lot of stone and heavy timber that gives it a boutique atmosphere. We were not concerned about the lack of an elevator. The landscaping is very well done and parking is easy. NOTE: We stayed in the main building and cannot comment on the accommodations in the other buildings on the same property.

Property and buildings were tired and required a lot of TLC. Our room in the spa area was musty and tired. Windows were dirty. Air purifiers in the halls seemed to have no effect. Dining area was adequate but had windows looking out over the property which looked like the hadn’t been cleaned in years. The staff was excellent. Overall tired facilities but good staff.
