"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It is breathtaking. We loved the cave tour, I would highly recommend it. Unfortunately we only spent one night, so didn’t get to explore much.
The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, but that served our family well.
Don’t hesitate to book this place, it was a highlight of our trip!"

"Det gik fint med at tjekke ind.
Der var en del støj fra hoveddøren. Værelset var meget lydt og det generede søvnen.
Der var sølvfisk i den ene seng, det var knap så behageligt for vores datter."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations for what i paid. My one complaint was that at breakfast, I couldn't find any cutlery besides spoons. I had nothing to spread my butter with. Also, no napkins.
Big thanks to the staff for making our stay pleasant."

"This is the most delightful country hotel. From the outdoor space to the incredible buffet breakfast and adorable rooms.. one member of our party left something behind and the owner of the hotel kindly called us to let us know so we could go back and pick it up.
I would highly recommend this hotel for someone looking for a stay in a lovely village close to Bamberg with restaurants within walking distance"

"Have stayed multiple times. Can't beat the location to the Festspielhaus, and downtown is a short walk. Small, but good staff and clean. Stays open late so can socialize with other attendees after performances. And AC that works. Right near transportation."

Towering above the Franconian Switzerland region, Goessweinstein's magnificent baroque basilica draws pilgrims and architecture enthusiasts to its ornate interior. Hike the surrounding trails to discover dramatic limestone formations, then sample local beers at traditional taverns in the shadow of the medieval castle.

The only hiccup was parking. It’s not that far away but we arrived after dark and I couldn’t find where I was supposed to park. Hence, I may get a parking ticket from the town. Once I knew where to park it was easy both day and night.

A quiet, small building with only a few rooms, set in a big garden with ample parking. we slept withh the window open, and it was wonderful. It's reasonably close to the highway, and only 15 minutes into Bamberg. The breakfast was good.

The receptionist (male) seems to have a reputation for being aggressive and rude but we found him professional, rather than unfriendly. The hotel buildings are split and are on different levels with several dining areas and bars. Limited wine list but lots of beers, we had a reasonable meal although the venison was without flavor or texture. The bedroom and bathroom were fine and the free breakfast buffet was excellent with lovely staff. Free onsite parking was the final star in our rating!
