Beginnen wir mit dem (wenig) positiven: Die Zimmer sind sauber und Handtücher, sowie Bettwäsche gibt es täglich frisch. So das war es dann auch schon mit dem positiven :-( Der Hotelier wirkt permanent mürrisch. Das Personal schlichtweg überfordert. 4 Sterne - ein Witz!!! Wie die erlangt wurden is mir ein Rätsel?! Das Essen war permanent aus, bis Nachschub kam dauerte es oft 20 min. und mehr. Die Suppe wurde zu Tisch gebracht - ok. 3 Hauptspeisen als Buffet zur Selbstbedienung - ja wenn es 3 Speisen gegeben hätte! Oft waren es nur 2 und dann so billige Sachen: zB Tortellini in Tomatensauce und gebratenes Hühnerfilet in einer fertigen Rahmsauce mit Reis/Kroketten. Der Reis War nach 10 min. leer und es kam nichts nach - nach Rückfrage. Erklärung: sie haben keinen mehr. Bitte was????? Wie kann das passieren in einem 4 Sterne Hotel - wo doch das Abendessen von 18:30 - 20:00 Uhr geht!! Und dann gibt es um 18:40 Uhr bereits keinen Reis mehr .... Alternativ gab es dann geschlagene 20 min. später Bratkartoffeln. Die Nachspeise brauchte 45 min. - (wurde auch wieder serviert) Erklärung: Sie war noch nicht angerichtet. Frühstück: zähes Gebäck - weit entfernt von frisch. :-( Diesem Hotel gehört mind. 2 Sterne entzogen!!! EINE FRECHHEIT!! Nie wieder.

Shocking - the worst stay of my life

Pros: Leaving the hotel - which was not easy because the manager didn't know how to use his own credit card machine.
Cons: Everything but I am afraid there is no money in the world that would extract this establishment form the depths it has manged to sink to.
Location: nice - very litte
I don't know who I am angrier with - Expedia who moved us to the Waldesruh or the stupendous "inn keeper" who does not know the first thing about hospitality or how to even use his own credit card machine. It was the worst stay of my life - the rooms were shabby, there was no water in the pool, the breakfast - words can not describe how bad this was other than to say I only looked at breakfast once and on the second day opted for pringles. If you would like to test your survival instincts or just to make you want to feel much better about your worst hotel experience up to this point this would be a great option. Otherwise it would appear you didn't have your reading glasses as you were clearly unable to read this - sorry. Oh and the only reason I gave half a star is because I was unable to give negative stars and would suggest that the person who awarded 4 stars either did so many many years ago and has not been back in quite some time or is currently an angry sadist who hates children and kicks puppies as a hobby and badly needs a sense of smell and spectacles.

Ein bisschen mehr Freundlichkeit wäre wünschenswert. Ein bisschen mehr Sauberkeit im Speisesaal wäre sicher nicht schlecht. Das Hotel scheint trotz angeblicher Totalsanierung vor nicht allzu langer Zeit trotzdem in die Jahre gekommen zu sein.

It is a Pansion, not a Hotel. But a good one.

Pros: We loved the personnel. It was the same person at the reception, the bar, and taking dinner orders, but with a loving personality. :-)This is the best
Cons: The only mistake is calling the place a 4 star hotel.You expect more because of this.Call it a Pansion,a 3 star hotel, and you get what you expect.
Location: We were there in the wintertime, and we only done skiing. But in the summer it should be also great for outdoor activities.
This is a very-very nice Pansion, but do not expect a Hotel. It is 20 km away from the Hochkar ski resort, and has reasonable prices. We only found bed and breakfast offer on Expedia, but they also offer half board. Ask for it, it saves you a lot of time and effort solving the dinner question each night. They also call themselves a restaurant, but when we were there only the guests who stayed there had dinner, and we were the only ones ordering from the menu. The menu is poor, and the food is typical austrian. Don't expect too much, you are not in italy or france. The rooms are very big, in our room they had a separate bathroom and toilet, which was very nice. The fit out is rather old, the 80's style, but functional and clean. The parking is also big, they also have a ski room to store the skies, but it is not heated, so it is not good to leave the boots there. They offer free wifi, but it is not the fastest. Enough for e-mails though.

Kann man vergessen

Man wollte uns am Abreisetag 50 Prozent mehr aus der Tasche ziehen, als mit Expedia vereinbart war. WLAN funktionierte nicht, von Buffet konnte keine Rede sein, die in der Region üblichen Gutscheine für die Therme gab es auch nicht. Kann man vergessen.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ zu wünschen übrig .Das Hotel hatte sicherlich mal 4 Sterne Niveau aber im momentanen Zustand liegt es maximal bei 3 Sternen.
