"Our family of five stayed at this property for 10 days and had a wonderful experience. Although the weather was abnormally hot, we were able to stay cool and comfortable inside. There was a mix-up at the beginning, since the listing falsely indicated that the property was pet-friendly, but the owner worked with us to come up with a solution and kept in contact throughout our stay to see if we needed anything or had any questions.We appreciated all the care that was taken to make the property clean and homey and especially enjoyed having access to a grill and so many board games! Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"The "cabin" was great. I remember when it was a restaurant years ago, so seeing the conversion to a home was interesting. The loft sleeping area was great for kids; however, it may not be as well received for adults. However, the three private rooms downstairs were good for the adults. We were lucky and had perfect weather during our stay, so the outdoor space was enjoyed. I would strongly recommend using the wood burning fire pit to grille. The steaks and Lake Superior caught fish were outstanding! Our meals included 13 people, and the huge dining table inside was perfect. Also, there were enough plates and silverware for everyone. (Although the lack of a dishwasher meant all those plates and utensils had to be hand washed.) The proximity on US 2 was an initial concern, but the "cabin" is set far enough back that this was not an issue. I will add the proximity on US 2 did make it convenient to run to Walmart and Super One Foods in Ironwood. If I was traveling to the UP with a large group, I would definitely consider staying here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Creekside Chalet. The owners were very helpful, they were prompt when responding to our questions and they texted us during our stay to make sure things were going well. Our group of nine found the property very accommodating and spacious. The upper deck was perfect for morning coffee and the fire pit and swinging chairs were lovely. Firewood was even provided. The hot tub was well kept and plenty of towels were provided. If I am ever in the area again with a group, I will definitely stay there!"
