"Lovely breakfast with view on the lake. The room was very nice and spacious. We enjoyed the beautiful setting, and the many activities available for our family (canoe, playgrounds, beach, etc.)"
"Personnel super agréable et a disposition de sa clientèle. Possibilité d'arriver tard le soir, ce qui arrange beaucoup lors de voyages d'affaires.
Chambres simples mais très propres et confortables.
Très bon rapport qualité prix.
Je reviendrais. "
"This little known gem, situated about 10 minutes from Egletons on the D16, in the delightfully rural Correze, is well worth a visit. If it’s peace, calm and tranquility you seek - this is it. Relatively unknown to the English (we were the first English to stay here) it’s well worth a visit. The hosts are very welcoming and speak English. The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!"
"We didn't expect too much.
We arrived decently late and tried to call multiple times to check how late we could check in, the first 2x the phone was not answered.
We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available.
The room smelled a bit of cigarettes and had to be aired out. The layout was complicated with steps right after the door and a seperate toilet which...

"The check in staff were amazing, but when we went to the restaurant it all went down hill 100mph, the staff ignored us especially the self proclaimed sommelier, he needs a rocket, even with eye contact he completely chose to not see.....the food wasnt any better, gluggy potatoes full of cheese, dry beoff..no water as asked for when we finally were asked until we asked again later, poured our own wine, and many tables were in the same predicament.. mattress was terrible, but the toom otherwise fine.."
"This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed. There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."
"There is no question about this small resort it is absolutely astonishing with the surrounding scenery. It just stunning! Beautiful lake and surrounding area with plenty of other breathtaking places to visit. However the lodge we had did have a problem with hot water when we first arrived but was quickly resolved. The main issue was our cabin ( it had extremely creaky floors!) this wasn’t a problem in itself. However if you had to get up during the night you’d wake up the other people you are staying with. Additionally communication with staff was difficult due to the language barrier when trying to sort problems out with the staff however they were very patient and polite. They had plenty of activities to do on site. One thing I would offer that’s not provided is basic amenities such as tea and coffee especially if you’ve travelled a long way to the site (even if you paid extra for it) otherwise very clean and tidy accommodation and again absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! "What a stunning location and a lovely and very well equipped gite. Solange and Henri were friendly and always reacted well to questions or issues. It's an area we hadn't really visited before and we loved it - also great to have a well marked 8km dog friendly circular walk passing right outside the gite! Lots of places to visit nearby and stunning countryside."
