This apartment was weird, uncomfortable and unattractive. There were no functional doors other than the bathroom — just curtains separating the bedrooms. The furniture was unattractive, old, uncomfortable, didn’t feel fresh. The second sleeping space was photographed as a bedroom area but the bed was an old, uncomfortable pull out sleeper sofa with a bad mattress. There were signs of mold in the bathroom and you couldn’t open the bathroom door all the way — it would get stuck on the floor. The apartment was dark and on a busy, loud street with construction barricading the sliding glass door and balcony.

We had a brief single night stop over at Hotel Dolorea. Booked through Expedia, which seemed to cause some confusion for the staff upon arrival but after some investigation by the staff our booking was found. We booked a shared room for a family of four. Room was air conditioned which was a welcome relieve from the near 40C outside. Room was spacious with a very generous sized bathroom, beds were comfy and water was in the mini fridge. There was no kettle in the room. Room/hotel were accessed using a key code which worked well when returning from an evening meal. A bonus is the private parking in the hotels subterranean car park for 10 euros a night. All in all a good experience, staff were friendly and helpful. Beasain is a delightful town for an evening stroll with some interesting historical features.

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff, in the middle of old town. No better location for pintxos and drinks!

I recently stayed with my wife and let me tell you it was a gem of San Sebastian, next door to the Arima Spa. First of all we were upgraded to a higher floor and was amazing, good A/C spacious room and a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was soo good there are a lot of things to choose Jamon Iberico, smoked salmon, sorted of cheese and charcuterie, great coffee maker and a lot pastries, also a la carte eggs. There is an extra point of this Hotel is that there is a 1 minute walk bus station #28 to get to the last stop Boulevard (were you get off and walk). My advice just take the one across the nearby hotel. I will be staying here next time. Thanks!
