"this is not your average place to stay. Off the beaten track at the top of a very old village. Once booked in time to take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery and the house dog and cat. This is a rustic house so don't expect perfection and enjoy the experience. The host cooked a delicious 3 course dinner for us with wine costing 20 euros each and there was a fully stocked bar charged at very reasonable rates. "Enjoyed our stay at the parador. The room and bathroom were spacious. Good breakfast selection. They had a path that connected to the town, but we didn't go into town. Just explored around the castle as we were there for only one night."
