“My family of 4 and my cousin’s family of 4 stayed in this beautiful property 40 minutes west of Chania on Crete. The house itself was gorgeous, spotless, and well-appointed. The kitchens were well stocked with everything you could think of, including cheese graters, pasta strainers, and plenty of glasses/plates/silverware. The hosts generously provided a welcome basket with fruit, cookies, coffee pods, and treats. They also serviced the properties halfway through our stay, which was welcomed and……

“This house, known as the Winehill Villa, is wonderful and luxurious. We loved waking up every morning to the most amazing view of the sea out beyond the infinity pool. We spent many hours in the comfortable couches and lounge chairs by the pool and the view, and we ate many of our meals there as well. “We hired this villa for 3 weeks from mid-May until early June with a group of friends and family members aged 27 to 74. For those looking for a spanking villa on a quiet, unspoilt stretch of coast, this is the place. The villa itself is wonderfully spacious and beautifully equipped. Beds were super-comfy and the showers are powerful with no shortage of hot water. Although we did very little cooking, the kitchen seemed to be fully equipped and has some nice touches eg coffee machine and……

“Wonderful stay at Vila Chara!!! The location could not be better, between Kissamos and Falasarna. Villa is very nice with everything one may need. The A/C worked well and the shutter closings was a nice addition for added security. Overall, a very pleasant stay. One thing I need to flag is that there were many stray cats around, often in our patio area and begging for food at our kitchen door. I understand this is out of the owner’s hands, yet it was quite frustrating and not ideal. ”
