"Cute, cozy cabin in the woods. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of room inside. Very peaceful. Lots of beautiful land and wildlife to see on your drive to this property. Everything looked brand new-the cabin, appliances, tvs. We were in town for a baseball tournament, so we didn't spend much time enjoying the surrounding property, as we were mostly at the field. "My husband and I booked the rustic cabin as a much needed get-away and to stay while we looked at some nearby property for sale. The cabin was very cute and we noticed right away how clean it was. The view from the deck was spectacular as well. What we didn’t expect was the bed being up against 3 walls in the bedroom. (The foot of the mattress is up against the wall). This might be ok for some, but my husband and I both wake up a few times during the night so this made it challenging for the person along the wall to get out of the bed without disturbing the other one. Also, the listing stated there is a smart tv, but there was no WiFi so we weren’t able to watch it. I guess you could use a hotspot on your phone if your plan has that but ours did not. Overall, it was a peaceful place to stay but I wish I would have known those couple of details up front."

"We stayed the weekend for a volleyball camp. The cabin was very clean, nice, had everything you could need!! The host communicated everything very well! It’s a rural setting, which we enjoyed. There is no cell service at all but the cabin has great internet and we could receive calls, texts and everything! We have a little poodle that’s part of the family and we can’t ever leave her. We were very appreciative she could come! I enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the deer! So quiet and peaceful! I would definitely stay again!!!"

"Our stay at the Persimmon Cabin on Faith Mountain was amazing! From the attentive hospitality by Mark and Patti to the exceptional hiking experience throughout the property. The cabin also offers convenient day trips to nearby communities and state parks. Faith Mountain will be kept on our radar for every return trip to wild and wonderful West Virginia!!"

"AMAZING! It was nice to unplug and be totally off the grid for the weekend. The views were amazing and it so peaceful and relaxing. I stayed for my family reunion in Rosedale and will def be back again. I met the owner on a walk, and he was so nice. Much more spacious than being cramped up in a hotel room. The weather was perfect. We played horseshoes and made s’mores by the fire. 1010 recommend! "
