Grasslands National Park Tours

Quite remote Grasslands National Park in the south of Saskatchewan has bisons and a vast but gorgeous landscape of gorges, grassy hills and meadows . We visited the park for its herd of wild bisons which we found mostly grazing far away from the main road but luckily we happened on some individuals all by themselves far from the group only mere meters from the road ...an immense feeling of surprise and satisfaction to have this big one calmly posing for me !

Everthing good, well appointed and generally refreshed. Front desk staff were excellent. Only exceptions were: dated heater that was a bit noisy and need to drive across busy highway to find a place to eat. Would stay again, even if there is not a nearer cafe. Overall good value. The staff were quick and polite and the rooms were clean with a very comfortable bed. Only thing I was not delighted about was the tv system. Small thing but it was a very different system and a challenge( for me) to use
