"Staff at front desk was excellent. Two women waitress in the bar/dining area were ignorant and didn't acknowledge the fact that our order was incorrect and brought me the cheese that we asked for on our hot sandwich on a plate. Also, our shower was freezing cold even after running the water for a long period of time."

"Very clean and nice hotel. We made a mistake and booked the wrong nights so when we showed up a day late they said they cancelled both nights we had paid for and hotel staff were unwilling to help us or give any sort of refund because we had booked with hotels.com, said hotels.com could do it but hotels.com said the property had the money and could refund some. I know it was my error but no one seemed to want to help so we ended up paying for our stay two times. They could have at least refunded the second night since we ended up staying there anyway so paid for that same night twice. Otherwise hotel itself was very nice and great location. Very clean and comfortable beds."

"Stayed one night for a concert. Completed the pre check-in process prior to arrival but never received an entry pin, so we went through check-in again at the desk. Discovered the issue for not receiving a pin was due to an issue with the lock for our door (they use Yale smart locks). An employee was working to fix it, but this delayed us being fully checked in by about 20 minutes. When we finally got our pin and could head up to our room, the lock still wasn’t working; we were about to head back to the front desk when an employee exited the room (he said he was working on the wifi). He assured us the lock was functioning and he was calling tech support to mitigate the WiFi issue, but we were okay to enter the room, leave our things and head to the concert. We stopped at the front desk prior to leaving and informed them the lock still wasn’t working, so they gave us the physical key for the lock and told us they would continue to work to fix both the lock and now the WiFi as well. We came back to the hotel around 2am and tried both the pin and key - neither worked. Again, we were about to head down to the desk when we realized the door was unlocked and we (or anyone for that matter) could just walk into our room. We found the lock partially disassembled on the kitchen island. Staff was extremely pleasant and were working to fix things, but it was frustrating and concerning that our door was left unlocked for who knows how long while we were out."

"This gorgeous classic hotel in the heart of Pittsburgh is an easy walk to anywhere in the downtown area, the North Shore including PNC park and the Warhol Museum, and to the South Shore's Station Square area and the lower Monongahela incline. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful. The hotel offers valet parking, but a less expensive option is right across the street in the Mellon Square parking garage (where we parked). The hotel has a grand lobby and several options for drinks and dining including a speakeasy in the basement and a good coffee shop. If you are staying in this hotel or any other Omni, be sure to join the Omni Select Guest loyalty program for extra perks such as drink vouchers and room upgrades."

"I had no service on TV. Staff kept telling me that maintenance was coming. They never came. I was there for a whole week. They didn’t even give me a discount the front desk people were being rude when I will call down phone didn’t work in the room."
