“There were mice droppings everywhere. In the cabinets, in the utensil drawer, all over. This is a serious health and safety issue and we worried about getting sick. We had to wash all the dishes before using anything. There were holes in the wall, unrelated to the mice it seems (too high up the wall). I would not let any other guests book this chalet until this matter is resolved. We unfortunately were unable to find a different place to stay and stuck it out, mostly due to being uncertain if we……

“The host was great in expaining all the details regarding prior during and the end. Jaime made our stay easy going and responded my questions in timly manner. Great living space, lots of room and loved that my family and i were minutes to blue mountain. The house was in good conditions. Just wished the jets in the spa worked especially after spending time on the mountains. ”

“Disappointment in stay. No hot tub available. Was bring installed. Electrical wire sitting on ground not carefully covered. . Lots of debris around hot tub. Not safe. Communication with host could be better. Took a couple of days before she returned messages. Tv in main bedroom broken. I feel this property needs some TLC. Things seem to be tired. The kitchen was equipped with the very basics. All in all I would rate it 5/10. ”

“The chalet was clean and the location was very convenient, just a short distance from Blue Mountain Ski Resort and Collingwood. The curb appeal was fairly minimal, and the interior had the bare essentials. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which we appreciated. Overall, a good no-frills option if location is your priority.”

“Host was great! We needed a lighter for the wood stove and it was provided immediately. Everything was exactly as expected. Some of the beds are not in great shape. There was one in particular that actually may be broken - it sagged underneath and was impossible to get comfortable. Otherwise, it’s a great location, instructions on what to do and what we needed to bring were very clear. Definitely recommend!”

“No issues with the hosts. Hosts were nice and responsive. They were accommodating when we requested for early check-in. Chalet was stocked with utensils, appliances.The reason we have given the 3/5 score rating is due to A few complaints regarding the Chalet and/or posting description: space was a bit tight for 3 families (9 people consisting of 6 adults and 3 kids), the 2nd bathroom is missing window pane so when someone was using the bathroom you could hear them, the 4th bedroom (common room)……
