Home from Home - Cosy Cottage in Whale Watching Country
"Great cottage, off the grid and still close enough to everything. Enjoyed it very much."
Mavillette Beach Lodge and RV Park
"We booked through Expedia and thought it was a cottage but it was hotel room, but it had a coffee maker & microwave but expected a toaster oven (thats our fault). Used sauna, very nice. We were there for the beach not the room. Owners were beyond friendly. Only thing was no dining nearby."
Double Lake Cottage: You’ve Arrived
"We stayed for a week for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. Cabin is very cute, we enjoyed the lake right at the back door. Kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed. We promptly locked ourselves out upon check in with both our phones in the cabin, and we sought out the neighbors to help us contact the host- both the neighbors and the host were very kind and understanding about the situation and we got everything sorted out. Other than our initial embarrassment, everything about our stay was very smooth. We would love to come stay again some day!"
Adventure Cabin too! Cosy cabin on lake edge
"We had a wonderful stay in the cozy cottage! We really enjoyed having the kayaks and hot tub on our front door step, and spent most of our time outside. Great location- close to the 101 and Mavilette Beach. Just a short drive to Yarmouth."
Whale Cove suites
"It was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. It was close to our venue in Sandy Cove."
The Cove House- completely renovated 1910 beach house
"A beautiful well-taken home that was thoroughly enjoyed by our family! There was a lot of things for our family to do in this area of Nova Scotia. The breath taking views were loved by all and will be remembered for a very long time. The host was easily reached and very accommodating"
Victorian ocean front cottage on the shores of the highest tides in the world.
"The view was priceless. You can really relax on the terrace while watching the tides and the beautiful sunsets. The access to the water via the stairs is a particular highlight, especially for the kids. Thanks to the large window front, there was also a wonderful view while dining and from the gallery. However, light-sensitive guests should use the lower bedroom with blackout blinds for sleeping. The apartment was very clean, and the furnishings largely matched the photos. However, the TV and kitchen appliances—especially the dishwasher—are in need of an update.Overall, we had a lovely and relaxing stay."
Riverside Camper in Mavillette - Cozy and Modern
"Very helpful staff, clean camper. Great location"
Casa Moana, Lovely old house overlooking St. Mary`s Bay, with free breakfast.
"I wasn't familiar with the bed-and-breakfast concept, never having shared living quarters with property owners before, but Len and Judie were generous, lovely, welcoming, and full of great information about the area. They fully respected our privacy. Loved using the kitchen, deck, and backyard and all the books and games. The rooms were beautiful and beds comfortable.A new neighbor in the area came by to meet the hosts and it surprised me when he walked into our guest living room where I was relaxing with a movie, instead of following the hosts through their space. That was my only privacy concern, but that was a reflection on him, not on Len and Judie! The home was restful and a good launching pad for all our Nova Scotia adventures. Thank you for your hospitality."
