Great location in central Amsterdam. Easy walk to train station. Lots of shops no restaurants nearby. Rooms adequate. Bathrooms very tight with odd glass doors. Bathroom sink tiny and useless. Delicious croissants and complimentary coffee in basement room. Very authentic and charming

Hotel staff were uniformly excellent and very knowledgeable about the area. While the hotel is "pricey", it is definitely a 5-star hotel, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for that type of experience.

"well the room was boiling hot and aircon was not powerful enough to keep the room cool. it was 27 degrees inside the room. outside was acutally cooler. staff during day shift just not good enough to sort any issues at all. they just smile and make excuses and wont solve the problem. staff needs training. ..."
