Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

Loved our stay here. It was great for the kids- we did not know initially about the ziplining, complementary s'mores roasting and so much more! We spent most of our 2 days in Yosemite in this property itself and had a relaxing time. Our kids made many new friends.

place is awesome. really cold in the shower, the water in the shower take a while before the warm water comes out. wish the bed is a little firmer

Enjoyable Time - beware of lack of Wi-Fi
Enjoyable stay, we were in C5 by the pool. My only gripe was that thew if-fi did not work in C5 despite it being reset. It actually worked perfectly of you stood 20 feet outside the cabin. I raised it with reception but did not receive any acknowledgement that anything would be done. So please be aware. I know that going to Evergreen is not about Wi-Fi coverage and the resort and facilities are amazing but as we were snowed in and travelling from the UK access to Wi-Fi was important to us. That said we had a lovely time at Evergreen Lodge

an outstanding, enjoyable retreat/escape
the Evergreen Lodge is flat out awesome in every imaginable way. beautifully rustic, environmentally sensitive, peaceful, quiet, secluded (but not isolated) environment, well designed, with beautiful views and a top-notch, friendly, helpful, professional staff that goes out of their way to make the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as they possibly can. hot showers, lots of pillows and blankets and even a loaner space heater for the bathroom if the more than adequate heat from the fireplace doesn't quite reach those furthest corners. and a large soothing salt water hot tub and heated outdoor pool, if you're brave. Note: our stay was end of November and the area received close to 6" of snow in one day. (Yosemite got 12" or more). it was magical. don't want to leave out the excellent food which i was able to run through the snow to the Restaurant/Tavern to order, return to the cabin, then run back 15 minutes later to pick up take back to the cabin while still hot. definitely will return to have the chance to explore and experience all that the Evergreen has to offer in the other seasons as well. highly recommended!

We enjoyed staying here, it's a quiet and well-maintained property in the middle of the forest. One thing we'd like I little more attention to is the pool and hot tub. The water in the pool was chill and the water in the hot tub was warm so we didn't get to enjoy those.
