Everything and everyone at the property were top notch! As soon as you walk in you are greeted and feel welcomed! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a good size and clean. The area around the property is quiet but still very walkable to plenty of restaurants and downtown attractions. I will definitely be back in the future!

The property is clean and the staff is too notch! You feel welcome and you can tell they care about customer service! The rooms and property itself is very clean and the parking is so easy and smooth. The area around the property is quiet but yet very walkable and close to plenty of restaurants and main downtown. We love our stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff, the room was clean, not noisy, the beds were very comfortable. Walkable to the cathedral, shopping places were close as well.

The facility fumigated the parking lot and lobby on a Thursday evening. The fumes when up to the room and air was foggy. When I followed up with management they informed me it was to kill mosquitos or other animals. They reported it was non toxic but I dont believe that is the case.

This is a small, boutique, well-staffed and well-run hotel in the heart of the historic center of Guadalajara. Temper your expectations. This is not a luxurious spa resort in the outskirts of the city. It’s in the heart of the bustling center of a colonial city. It’s perfect for what it sets out to be. I highly recommend the Real Maestranza for anyone who wants to be in the “thick” of traditional Guadalajara and everything that entails.
