If you're travelling on a budget I would recommend this accommodation. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, though the room was very small - just enough room for a single bed and very small bedside table ... but it did have a TV. The shared bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water and good water pressure, though the shower cubicle is very small. As a lone traveller I felt safe there (5th floor and plenty of locked doors). My only gripe with the room was that it had no window to the outside - there was a 'window' which opened to the stairwell/lift and there was a lot of noise from this area until quite late at night. The location is good - a 5-10 minute walk to Gran Via, about 20 minute walk to the Plaza Mayor - with quite a few places to eat and small shops for snacks and beverages close by. Staff were friendly, though I didn't really require their services as only there for a few days.

The staff was helpful and extra kind. The food was amazingly delicious, and we will stay in this hotel and wherever the chain of hotels is. This hotel had the best food and service!in Madrid!

"A lovely hotel just a short 15 minute walk from the centre and on the circular bus route to get to the bus and railway stations. The only issue was the noisy groups of elderly travellers having breakfast in the morning. Although they were seated in a separate area, they decimated the breakfast buffet ..."
